All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made
for hire" and are the property of the OAG. OAG may include pre-selection
requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy
criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. OAG will pay no fees
for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a
Worker.

Skills and Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):
4 years experience in technical writing, journalism, or communications work
4 years experience with techniques and methods of planning, organizing, and
writing various types of materials
4 years experience conducting research to compose, review, illustrate, and
edit technical documents, materials, and reports
4 years experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word
Strong skills in the use of office equipment
Strong communication skills
Preferences:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major
course work in business administration, English, education, or a related field.
Experience and education may be substituted for one another.
Knowledge of research methodology; and of departmental policies, procedures,
and regulations
Term of Service: Services are expected to start as soon as
possible and go through August 31, 2009. Total estimated Worker hours shall not
exceed 1040 hours. This service may be renewed and/or extended further providing
both parties agree in writing to do so.
Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise
coordinated through the OAG. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday
from 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is
closed.
The primary work location(s) will be at the OAG facility, located at 300 W.
15th Street, Austin, Texas, 78701.
